Cannon Named Honor Roll Honoree
We are so proud to announce that Cannon is one of five GCISD schools, as well as the district itself, to have been named to the 2018-2019 Honor Roll for their high achievement in student success. GCISD is one of just six public school districts in Texas to be recognized and the schools in GCISD earning this recognition are Cannon Elementary, Glenhope Elementary, Heritage Elementary, Grapevine Middle and iUniversity Prep. Schools and districts that receive the Honor Roll distinction have demonstrated consistent high levels of student academic achievement, improvement in achievement levels over time, and a reduction in achievement gaps among student populations. For high schools, the Honor Roll recognition also includes measures of college readiness. To learn more about the Honor Roll, visit www.edresults.org.
